After 3 months of travelling to South East Asia, I'm finally back home! While backpacking isn't the most glamorous adventure, I did get the chance to work and stay at the beautiful Coast Boracay

Located on Station 2 by White Beach, Coast Boracay is true to their tagline - "where fun meets the sun". Upon pick-up at the airport, we were greeted with the friendliest people. If you've ever been to the Philippines then you know there's nothing like filipino hospitality but the team at Coast knocks it out of the park. Pick-up was seamless and hassle-free, we were taken to a port that wasn't overcrowded and they had a private boat.

Once we arrived, we were greeted with welcome drinks and given a quick tour around my Deluxe Room. We were spoiled with a Sealy Double Bed, Coast Pacific Goose feather King Pillows and 400 thread count linens - so you know we had the best sleep of our lives. To top it off we had the prettiest washroom with a walk-in rain shower. If that doesn't win you over then you can get more info here.

For those who are looking for some tanning time, Coast has two large pools with plenty of beach chairs. Personally, this was my favourite place to tan because I didn't have to deal with the sand. And the fresh watermelon juice wasn't so bad either. But if you love the beach then you can just step outside and you can catch some sun time there.

If you aren't won over yet then maybe the breakfast will do the trick. Everyday we were treated to a revolving menu that featured filipino favourites like garlic rice (the reason why I gained 10 lbs), tosino, and arriz caldo. Then they had Western items like omelettes, pancakes, and even some Korean dishes.

Originally, we were only supposed to stay here for 3 days and 2 nights but we loved it so much that we cancelled our booking at our hostel and paid for 2 extra nights. From the location, the bedroom, the delicious breakfast, beautiful facilities, and the benefit of having the airport transfers - our stay at Coast Boracay was my favourite accommodation during our entire trip.

We were lucky during our stay (which was in low-peak season) and got some sun time. If you have the chance, I would suggest to go anytime from December to May. There are more tourists but at least you'll get to truly experience the Manila nightlife. Plus, the weather is so much better and you'll be sure to catch a killer tan.

Special thanks to the Coast and Raintree Hospitality Group for accommodating me and giving me an unreal experience! I'll definitely be back.
