A month ago I walked into Sephora and decided that after 9 years I was going to change my cleanser. My OG cleanser was Cetaphil and I started to notice it wasn't give me that deep clean that I needed. I started to see Boscia all over social media and saw that Sephora was featuring them so I called up my friend Linda aka my personal make-up adviser and she gave me the go-ahead.

It was hard to choose which cleanser I should use but I opted for the Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel (partly because I tried the sample first and loved it) and even got the Beauty Oil. I've been using both products for a month and I felt the difference instantly. My skin feels softer and more firm whereas my other cleanser made my skin feel sticky and dry. I mix the Beauty Oil with my Cetaphil moisturizer and it makes my skin glow but not look oily.

A little bit about Boscia, they are the world's first 100% preservative-free skincare brand. Their unique botanical blends provide unprecedented benefits: increased cell regeneration, improved elasticity, corrected skin tone, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, advanced acne great and redness reduction.

Tsubaki (Camellia)
  • Promotes deep hydration with skin-enetrating enhancers Omegas 6 and 9
  • Increases collagen synthesis, promoting skin firmness
  • Powerful antioxidants that provide protection from free radical damage
  • Used for centuries as an integral part of Japanese beauty rituals, promoting firm, youthful-looking skin
I use Boscia twice a day: when I wake up and before I go to bed. First, I'll remove my eye make-up then I'll wash my face with cold water then apply one pump of the Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel. You'll start to feel it work almost immediately, it makes your face feel tingly and soft - it's great. Anyways, after cleansing my face, I wash it off with cold water then dry my face with a towel. I'll mix the Tsubaki Beauty Oil with my moisturizer and use 3 drops of the oil, rub it between my hands until it get hots (this actually happen guys) and pat it on my face. Then, VOILA - soft and clean skin!

Remember, I'm not a skincare specialist and all skin differs. As a point of reference I have normal and occasional oily skin, I'm also not prone to acne.
